Kalamazoo County Child Abuse & Neglect (CAN) Prevention Council Kalamzoo CAN promotes the fact that "All Kids Deserve to be Safe."

Some of our main programs and services we provide to the local community are:

o Providing the “Family Help Book”, a free resource guide outlining community services
o “Kids Are Special” interactive presentations for children,
o Mandated Reporter Trainings for individuals who by law have to report abuse or neglect due to their profession
o Provides “Baby Think It Over” dolls, as part of the Never

Shake a Baby Campaign
o “You Are Special” sexual abuse prevention coloring book
o Kids are Special Education Program
o Other informational pieces about child abuse & neglect including how to prevent, recognize, and report abuse & neglect
