Girls on the Run of Greater Kalamazoo is seeking strong, committed leaders to serve on our Board of Directors. We’re at an important moment: rebuilding and strengthening the council to ensure long-term sustainability and continued impact for girls in our community. This isn’t a passive role. We’re looking for people who are ready to engage, contribute their expertise, and help move the organization forward.

Interns gain career experience and provide assistance focused on event support, volunteer coordination, 5K planning, outreach, communications, and more. 🎉 Season Complete, Confidence Growing! 🎉

Smiles, certificates, and so much to celebrate at King Westwood’s final Girls on the Run practice! 💖

This season, these girls showed up, supported one another, built confidence, and accomplished so much — and their certificate celebration was the perfect way to honor all of their hard work and growth. 🌟

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible coaches, site liaisons, and families for cheering these girls on every step of the way. Your encouragement, time, and support helped make this season possible and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Final practice deserves a moment of its own.

Today we wrapped up our last Girls on the Run practice of the season, and it’s hard to put into words how much growth, laughter, and confidence these girls have shown over the past weeks. From first steps to final strides, they’ve supported each other, pushed through challenges, and proven just how strong they are—inside and out.

This season has been about so much more than running. It’s been about friendship, perseverance, and discovering what’s possible when you show up for yourself and your team.

So proud of every single girl for the energy, effort, and heart they brought to every practice. Now we get to celebrate all they’ve accomplished together at our end-of-season celebration! 🏅✨
