Kalamazoo Drop-In Child Care Center is funded 100% by our community. Over 90% of our funding comes from local individual donors and foundations. Every gift, big or small, truly makes a difference.

Families use KDCCC while:
β€’ Attending school and completing degrees
β€’ Searching for jobs or going to work
β€’ Attending court dates or medical appointments
β€’ Caring for other children and responsibilities
β€’ Taking a much-needed break during overwhelming seasons of life

We may be small, but we are mighty. KDCCC creates direct, lasting impact for local children and families every single day, and we cannot continue this work alone.

We had SO much fun yesterday celebrating early literacy with the Kalamazoo Public Library at Party in the Park! πŸŒ±πŸ“šπŸ˜„

It was so special getting to spend the morning alongside so many incredible community organizations, all coming together to share the joy of reading with local children and families. From dressing up as our favorite characters to reading beloved books with groups of kiddos, the whole event was filled with so much fun and community connection.

A huge thank you to the Kalamazoo Public Library for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful event and for making the morning so magical. We already can’t wait for next year! ✨

Books, bonding, and big smiles! πŸ“šπŸ’™

We had such a wonderful time at our KDCCC family event yesterday! Parents joined us for a fun early literacy workshop and special reading activities with their little ones, all focused on helping build strong early literacy skills through everyday moments🌈

A huge thank you to Jen Stroven and Kalamazoo RESA Early Childhood Talking is Teaching initiative for leading our workshop, and to the Kalamazoo Public Library's Mobile Library for joining us with free books, library card sign-ups, and books for families to check out and enjoy together! ✨

Thank you to all of our amazing parents that showed up, we can't wait for the next oneπŸ’™
