ATTENTION ALL***

Cowlitz County Fire District 5 will be doing a training burn this Saturday, March 12th, from 9am to 5pm. It will be conducted on Legacy Drive which is located off of Lane Rd. If you see smoke in the area, it is likely from our training burn, so please limit emergency services calls regarding this location.

WILDFIRE UPDATE! - OKANOGAN COUNTY (WA): Fire activity has picked up dramatically on the “Cedar Creek Fire” and fire has reportedly jumped the dozer line. Evacuations ordered.
Level 3 (Evacuate NOW) has been issued for persons living off of Wolf Creek Road between the Wolf Creek Bridge and Green Road, due to fire that has spotted towards houses in this area.

WILDFIRE - WHITMAN COUNTY (WA): Firefighters have responded to a wildfire in the Steptoe Canyon area south of Colton in Whitman County. Fire estimated at 1300 acres with a rapid rate of spread. This is the "Steptoe Canyon Fire".

WILDFIRE - DOUGLAS COUNTY (WA): Firefighters are responding to a wildfire along Batterman Road east of Wenatchee in Douglas County. Fire estimated at 7900 acres. Structures threatened. This is the "Batterman Road Fire".
