There will be an open gym at the Middle School on Monday, June 22nd from 6:00-7:30 p.m. for all 8th grade boys. Any 8th grade boy that wants to play at Monroe City in a 1 day basketball shootout on Thursday, June 25th will be provided information about that on Monday night. On Friday, June 12th all elementary summer school students will be participating in the Flag Day Parade on the Kahoka square. The parade will begin at 10:00 AM and students will walk through the parade. Anyone is welcome to observe, but students must stay with their teachers during the entire event. Please have your child wear comfortable walking shoes and red, white, and blue clothing. For any questions, please call Mrs. McDaniel at Black Hawk Elementary.

Our students had a delicious learning experience today!🍅🥖

A big thank you to the Missouri Extension Center for visiting our school and leading a hands-on nutrition lesson. Students learned about healthy food choices, kitchen safety, and the importance of incorporating fresh ingredients into their meals.

The highlight of the lesson was making homemade bruschetta! Students enjoyed preparing and tasting this healthy snack while practicing valuable nutrition and food preparation skills.

🤠🌵 Wild West Wednesday was full of cowboy and cowgirl fun!

Our students practiced their roping skills as they took aim with hula hoops and tried to lasso steer heads just like real ranch hands.

The smiles were as big as Texas, and the laughter could be heard all across the prairie! We are having a fantastic time and making memories that will last long after summer school ends.

On Friday June 5th our students will be going on two hands-on learning experineces

🐐 K-2: Petting Zoo Adventure
Our youngest learners will enjoy an up-close experience with animals. To participate a waiver must be signed. This will be coming home today.

🎭 3rd-5th Grade: Ella Ewing Experience
Students in grades 3-5 will travel to Memphis to visit the Ella Ewing Museum, enjoy a special opera performance, and learn about the incredible story of Ella Ewing.
