On June 10th Sue and Mike Scott, owners of The Media here in Kahoka Missouri came and spoke with the children about the ins and outs of running a media company. They even let the children go through the process of creating their very own articles! What an experience it was! Next week on June 17th at 10 am we look forward to having the staff from Exchange bank at the Library.

First summer reading program started off with with Judge Holly Conger-Koenig. She read to the children, and talked to them about her job. We were so happy to have the summer school children join us. Mila Hawkins, daughter of Corby and Brittany Hawkins was the lucky winner of the book giveaway. Next Wednesday, 6/3/26 at 10 am we will be having the Magician at the Clark County Middle School!

Our newest addition at Sever Library! A red walking chair with a storage basket under the seat to assist our patrons with getting through the library. We want all our patrons to have the ability to walk through the stacks of books and be able to personally make their selections. With that in mind we have this chair for the patrons that may need a little more assistance. So come visit the library and take it for a spin!

As Study Buddies is wrapping up this school year, Sever Library will be holding a movie time during the next two Study Buddies for the participants on 5/8 and 5/12 before the final Study Buddies on 5/14. They will get to watch The Wild Robots since they have finished reading the book of the same title. We look forward to seeing all our Study Buddies kids!
