The City of Justin invites residents to attend a Truth in Taxation Town Hall TONIGHT, Wednesday, August 5, at 5:30pm to learn more about the Fiscal Year 2026β2027 budget process and the proposed property tax rate.
The town hall is designed to provide a clear, easy-to-understand overview of how the City's budget is developed, where property tax dollars are spent, and how the proposed tax rate supports essential services such as public safety, parks, streets, and infrastructure. Staff will also explain the Truth in Taxation process, discuss the relationship between property values and tax rates, and answer questions from residents. The City has emphasized transparency throughout the budget process and encourages public participation.
