Over the past few weeks, our crews have been conducting live fire training with our mutual aid partners. During these trainings, we were able to utilize the Woods Forcible Entry Door that the department purchased through a grant from BKV.

This training prop was built by some of the dedicated members of the department. The Woods Door will allow the Justin Fire Department and its members to continue training on critical forcible entry techniques.

Having this forcible entry door available for training helps ensure our firefighters remain prepared, while allowing us to better serve the community of Justin.

Over the last 3 weeks we have had six different personnel supporting TIFMAS wildland operations all across the state of Texas!

Engine 572 is currently deployed in the Kerrville area as part of an All-Hazards response supporting severe weather response.

TRAFFIC ALERT – FM 407

FM 407 is currently shut down for an extended period between Timberbrook Parkway and Bill Cook due to an active incident.

Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes while first responders work the scene. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as crews ensure the roadway is safe to reopen.

🚑 New Medic Unit Alert!
The Justin Fire Department has added a brand-new Ford F550 medic unit that will be stationed at our future Fire Station 2. This advanced unit uses an electric power system instead of a traditional generator, helping reduce fuel use and carbon monoxide exposure. ⚡️

Built to national ambulance standards, it enhances safety, quality, and efficiency for both patients and crews. It also includes a digital alerting system that sends warnings to nearby drivers through navigation apps, helping them slow down and move over. 🚨📱

For added crew safety, the medic is equipped with a four-camera recording system and cab monitor. The exterior design matches our newest engines, and the back proudly displays the Station 2 “Farmhouse” logo. 🤍🏠

We’re excited to put this medic into service for Justin and the surrounding community! ❤️🔥
