🎉 EIGHTH GRADE 🎉

Our annual Formal Dance will be this Friday, May 15th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM!

➡️ Ticket sales will be during lunch from TODAY, May 11th through Thursday, May 14th.

➡️ Tickets are $5

➡️ Tickets are also available online through SchoolCash.
Please note: if your student has fines, the dance ticket will not appear as an option until ALL fines have been cleared.

‼️ There will be NO ticket sales after May 14th at 3:00 PM. Please plan accordingly — no exceptions! ‼️

✔️ Students must have NO fines.
✔️ Students MUST have their school ID to enter the dance — NO EXCEPTIONS!

A huge thank you to Gene Pike Middle School PTA for providing dinner and dessert for all attendees! They will also have concessions available for purchase. 💙

School Nurses Day 🏥

This week we get to celebrate one of Pike’s real-life superheroes, Nurse Lisa Black!

From ice packs and bandaids to real life emergencies, Nurse Lisa does it all with kindness, expertise and patience. She takes care of our students and staff every single day, and we are so lucky to have her at Pike!

Thank you for all you do to keep our school healthy, safe, and cared for. We appreciate you more than words can say!

🎉 EXTRA YEARBOOKS? HERE’S THE PLAN! 🎉

Didn’t pre-order a yearbook but still hoping to snag one? We’ve got you covered… with a raffle!

🗓 Raffle Entry Days:
Students may enter the raffle on Monday & Tuesday, May 10th & 11th ONLY by coming to the front office and filling out a raffle ticket.

⚠️ Tickets will ONLY be available on those two days — no exceptions.

📚 Yearbook Distribution for Pre-Orders:
Students who already purchased a yearbook will receive them on Wednesday.

🎟 Raffle Winners Announced:
Winning names will be announced on Friday, May 15th at 10:30 AM.

💵 IMPORTANT — READ CAREFULLY:
If a student enters the raffle, they MUST come prepared with $40 CASH in the event their name is selected.

If their name is called:

They will come down immediately
Pay $40 CASH
Receive their yearbook on the spot

🚫 We will NOT:

Hold yearbooks
Wait for a parent to bring money
Accept payment later

If a student does not come down when called OR does not have the cash in hand, we will move on to the next raffle ticket.

8th Grade Families!

Join us for our annual 8th Grade Picnic on May 20th at 11:25 am in the Pike Courtyard to have lunch with your student before they are headed off to High School! ❤️🐾

Gene Pike PTA will be hosting a photo op for pictures with your student and music!🎶

⭐Important Information for guests:
-Seating is limited, please bring chairs/picnic blankets to sit on if you have them.
-Bring lunch for you and your student, lunch is not provided.
-Arrive early to grab a spot for you and your student! (again, seating is limited!)
-Doors will open at 11am to get into the building, you will grab your visitors badge (google form required) and head to the courtyard. Volunteers will be there to assist flow of traffic. Students will be released to come down for lunch at 11:25am and return to class at 12:30pm.
-Each guest will need to be fill out separate Registration Forms on our Google Form.
-Please double check inputed information, as this is how we will check you into our campus via RAPTOR prior to the event.

🍕🦸 Lunch Hero Day Shoutout! 🧃🍎

Today we are giving a BIG shoutout to our amazing cafeteria team for Lunch Hero Day! These incredible staff members do so much more than serve lunch, they help keep our students energized, happy, and ready to take on the rest of the school day.

From early mornings to the busy lunch rush, they work hard every single day to prepare meals, keep the lines moving, and greet our students with friendly smiles.
