This Memorial Day, the Jupiter Police Department stands in solemn honor of the brave men and women of our military who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation.

We wear a badge. They wore a uniform. Both are a promise — to protect, to serve, and to answer the call no matter the cost. We are humbled by their courage and forever indebted to their sacrifice.

To the veterans, active duty service members, and Gold Star families in Jupiter: our community is grateful for your dedication and your loss.

We will never forget.

Today we pause to honor those who answered the call and never came home. To every peace officer who gave their life in service to their community — we remember you, we honor you, we will never forget. 🖤

Today, we pause to remember. 💙

As we honor our fallen brothers, Major Edward Humphrey and Officer First Class Bruce St. Laurent, we also remember every law enforcement officer who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Though time passes and our department continues to grow and change, the impact these officers left behind remains part of who we are.

Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication continue to shape the way we serve our community each and every day.

In every badge worn, every watch stood, and every promise to protect and serve… their legacy lives on.

Today, and every day, we remember them.

This week, we honor and remember. 💙
National Police Week is a time to recognize the men and women who wear the badge and serve their communities with courage, professionalism, and dedication each day.

Throughout the week, the Jupiter Police Department will honor all who serve in law enforcement, while also remembering the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Their legacy continues to inspire every officer who puts on the badge.
To our officers at the Jupiter Police Department and law enforcement brothers and sisters across the country — thank you for your service. 💙

Before you hit the water — read this. 🌊

Beach season is here, and we want everyone to make it home safe. One of the biggest dangers at our beaches? Rip currents.

Rip currents can form quickly and pull even strong swimmers away from shore. If you’re caught in one:
➡️ Stay calm
➡️ Don’t fight the current
➡️ Swim parallel to shore until you’re out of it
➡️ Signal for help if needed

Before getting in the water:
🚩 Always check the beach flags
🛟 Swim near a lifeguard whenever possible
🌊 Know your limits — ocean conditions can change fast
👀 Keep a close eye on children at all times
🚫 Never swim alone

And remember — no flags or lifeguards does not always mean safe water.

Stay alert, stay aware, and stay safe, Jupiter. 💙

Save this and share it with someone heading to the beach this weekend.
