We had a tour of the amazing youth center, the Palm Beach County Police Athletic League's Cabana Colony, and watched students receive homework assistance and a myriad of sports and recreation opportunities. Check out the game room! Ms. Susan is so warm and it is easy to see why the students love her.

Ta Ta for Now got the back-to-school wish list from the girls in their after-school program and we got to work! Today, we gave those girls two bras and seven pairs of un**es (enough to last the week) = about 108 items total. We can't wait to get the wish list from their other four youth centers!

We are seeking ways to partner with schools to address barriers to enrollment, retention, and success.

As stated in this article, unhoused students may need help with clothing. We are stepping up to address one barrier faced by adolescent girls - bras and underwear.

Students who lose stable housing can often remain in their previous school, even if they are staying outside its boundaries.

Today, Ta Ta For Now celebrated the Grand Opening of our new space.

Thanks to our supporters, we have over 500 SF for our storage, sorting, and multi-purpose office space.

It's nothing fancy, but by starting a grass-roots nonprofit, we have learned that every dollar counts.

Especially when it is founded by teenagers!

We didn't have a table with tents.
We didn't attempt to break a record.
We didn't pass out flyers.
We didn't organize a fundraiser.
We didn't advertise.

We did write notes of support.
We did sort through donations.
We did sort undergarments into sizes.
We did place them into gift bags.

A major step to help make a difference and empower young women in our community.
