September 1st is the time to sign your kids up for all the year’s 4-H events and clubs! A new year means new kids joining from different ages. The breakdown of age division is below. We would love to have your kids at 4-H!

Join us for Stronger Together: Su***de Awareness Month 2026 on September 28th at Richfield City Park!

Our Piute County Ambassadors will be there hosting a booth, along with so many other great organizations and activities. Come enjoy dinner, yoga, self-care kits, activities, and an evening focused on connection, kindness, and supporting one another!

We would like to recognize the Piute County youth who participated in the junior livestock shows recently. We had youth from Piute County participate in both the Southern Utah Junior Livestock Show (Richfield) and the Garfield County Junior Livestock Show (Panguitch). They did really well!

Canning season is here! Make sure your pressure canner gauge is accurate and ready to go before you start preserving this season's harvest!

Pressure canner gauge testing is available at the Piute County USU Extension Office Monday - Thursday from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

Our community Rock Snake in Circleville is missing its head!

A few weeks ago, we discovered that several painted rocks—including "Jake the Snake's" head—were removed.

The rock snakes in Circleville and Junction are created for everyone in the community to enjoy. If you have any information about the missing rocks or know where the snake's head might be, please let us know. If you removed these items, we kindly ask that you return them to Circleville Park, no questions asked.

A big thank you to everyone who brought their creative projects to the Piute County Fair Butch Cassidy Days exhibit hall! We had an incredible display, and we couldn't have done it without you. Another warm thank you to everyone who came to see the display; you made it all worth it. Thanks again, and we can’t wait to see you next year!

Your kids made some awesome projects at Sewing Camp! 🧵🪡

We worked on rag quilts, pillows, backpacks, and embroidery! We’d love for them to bring their projects to the Junction Firehouse and show them off at the Exhibit Hall for the fair!

Today is the last day to drop off items. We will be at the Firehouse until 1PM on July 29th. We’d really appreciate it!
