Think you’re good to burn just because it’s not closed fire season? Think again.
Even outside of Idaho’s burn permit season (May 10–October 20), local fire restrictions may still apply depending on where you live. Counties and fire districts can have tighter rules—and it’s your responsibility to know them.

✅ Before you light, check with your local fire officials
✅ Make sure you’re following the rules for your area

Don’t risk a preventable wildfire.
Do your part, prevent a wildfire start.
