❤️ **THANK YOU, JOSHUA, FOR SUPPORTING RED RIBBON WEEK!** ❤️
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend a sincere thank-you to the Joshua community for allowing Deputy Ochoa and Deputy Sims to participate in Red Ribbon Week at Staples Elementary School!
Red Ribbon Week, observed nationwide each year from October 23–31, is one of the largest drug prevention awareness campaigns in the country. Its mission is to raise awareness about the dangers of drug use and promote healthy, safe, and drug-free lifestyles. The campaign also provides an opportunity to educate our youth about the dangers of to***co, alcohol, and violence while encouraging positive choices that can make a lasting difference in their lives.
We are grateful for opportunities like this to connect with our local schools, spend time with our students, and help reinforce the importance of making safe, responsible decisions. Investing in our children today helps build a stronger, healthier, and safer community tomorrow.
A special thank-you to Staples Elementary School and the Joshua community for welcoming our deputies and allowing them to be part of this important effort. We appreciate your continued partnership and commitment to the safety and well-being of our children!
**Together, we can make a difference—one positive choice at a time!** ❤️
