March 4 marks Equal Pay Day in the United States — a powerful reminder that women must work further into the new year to earn what men earned in the previous year. Recognized nationally by organizations like the National Committee on Pay Equity, Equal Pay Day shines a light on the ongoing wage gap and the work still needed to achieve pay equity.

At Copper Mountain College, we are proud to stand in recognition of Equal Pay Day by celebrating opportunity, education, and empowerment. Education is one of the most powerful tools for closing wage gaps — and CMC remains committed to providing pathways that uplift women, support first-generation students, and expand access to high-demand careers.
