Good morning!

It's been a very strange year for me. I am going through a rebirth and reinventing myself. It's a really nice opportunity. It definitely hurts though. Still, the new Tad - Spencer?- is ready for the new life. Just really quickly, I had to fold my business - I am starting a new one! - my brother died, and dear Alicia left me. Many friends no longer speak to me. I do have two beautiful and very well trained German Shepherds, I write poetry almost every day, and I have the best friends anyone could ever even imagine. Life is good. It just hurts a little bit. It's the human condition.

I am using this opportunity to become way more organized, become more healthy, and to deeply consider what is important in life.

I have always known what is important to me, but it is so easy to lose sight. For me, I am rediscovering simplicity, patience and compassion. These treasures are so obvious, yet sometimes so hard to find.

The greatest gift I have right now is the ability to remain calm. Oh, sable German Shepherds. Sometimes I run my fingers against the grain of their fur and give them stripes. Their black hair is only black on the tips, underneath is golden brown. So when you stroke them backwards, they become striped.
