While you are munching on that hot dog (or just clearing the water off your deck) please take a moment to reflect on what it took for you to be able to do those things... and the sacrifices made by people you never knew (and perhaps, some you did) in pursuit of the freedom of that hot dog...

Just a quick reminder... please no parking tomorrow along the parade route... North Hamilton Street, North Main Street, Mechanic Street, and North Chappell Street.

I can't put up the "No Parking Parade Route" signs in the rain until tomorrow, so please remember to clear the route before show time!

You may have seen or heard of this recently... this message is being sent by email and text message to random people around the country... obviously, NYC doesn't collect debts that way! Use your critical thinking skills and ask yourself, if I haven't been to NYC in the past years, how would I have gotten a ticket?

Yup, its just a scam!

I knew him from my early days in Jordan and at 911... a loss for all of us...

In Memory of Deputy Robert " Bob" Bowles

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office mourns the loss of Deputy Robert William Bowles, a dedicated public servant and a true pioneer within our agency.

Deputy Bowles proudly served the people of Onondaga County for more than 20 years. He was one of the early pioneers of Air-1, helping to build and shape our aviation unit from early on. His skill, professionalism, and commitment to the mission set a standard that continues to guide those who followed in his footsteps.

Bob was more than a deputy and pilot, he was a teammate, a mentor, and a trusted friend to many. His service, leadership, and legacy will forever remain part of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the honor of serving alongside him.
Rest easy, Deputy Bowles. Thank you for your lifetime of service. 🖤💛
