This is Powell’s pond in Elton, Louisiana. In December, 1915 many Pentecostal ministers gathered in Elton for a ministers conference. Many were baptized in Jesus’ name, including all the ministers except for one. This was a pivotal turning point in the Oneness movement. There are two historic landmarks in Elton marking this historic event. ~We have a goodly heritage ~

Photos of Powells pond were donated by of Bro. Steve Buxton.

This is the Apostolic Faith Assembly aka the Tin Shop located at 901 W. Michigan Street in Indianapolis.
The open door gives us a slight glimpse into the foyer where G.T. Haywood at the age of 28 received the Holy Ghost in 1908.
The street map identifies the Tin Shop by name.
