Happy School Principals Day to this fantastic group of leaders in our schools! They carry quite a load, and they do it with intention, efficiency, and patience. Here's a glimpse into a day in the life of a school principal:

🔘 Helps a middle-schooler navigate a friendship breakup like it's a high-stakes peace negotiation.
🔘 Covers a class for 12 minutes so a teacher can handle an urgent situation and turns it into a surprisingly solid mini-lesson.
🔘 Has a hallway conversation that redirects a student’s entire day, without anyone else noticing.
🔘 Shares a quick, positive story about a student with their family, just because they should hear it.
🔘 Figures out how to support a teacher who is doing everything right and still having a tough day.
🔘 Listens to a high schooler explain why being five minutes late is actually a complex chain of unfortunate events involving traffic, a sibling, and existential dread.
