Tyler Hailey is the recipient of the Rookie Instructor Award from Rescue 3 International.
Since joining the instructor cadre, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional aptitude in technical rescue instruction. His strong command of rescue theory, confident instructional presence, and ability to translate complex concepts into practical, field-ready skills have quickly distinguished him as an emerging leader within our organization.
Tyler’s development as an instructor was strongly shaped by North Central Water Rescue, who served as his instructor trainers. Their mentorship and high instructional standards played a key role in building the foundation that Tyler now brings to every course he teaches. We are grateful for their investment in his growth and professionalism.

Any success attributed to me is truly a reflection of the people who have invested their time, knowledge, and trust in my growth. I stand on the shoulders of exceptional trainers, mentors, and peers who set the standard long before I arrived and continue to push me to be better every day. Their commitment to the craft are what I strive to carry forward.
I am also incredibly thankful for my wife and family who have supported me behind the scenes and allowed me the time, space, and encouragement to pursue this work.
This award is not something I see as an individual achievement, but as an opportunity and responsibility to continue the work that others began.
