If you have a story that is dying to get on paper, you definitely need to come to our weekly writers program. The library gives you the reflections, the inspiration, and the support; YOU provide the imagination! Together, we will build the local literacy scene!

This morning we started celebrating NC Trail Days with Brittany & her wonderful presentation on snakes! We learned about their habits, if they are native, venomous, and we even learned what we should do if we are bit by a snake!

Introducing Dory Fantasmagous, the official mascot of the Jonesville Public Library's summer 2026! Congratulations to the daughter of Neil H. Taylor II for picking such a unique name that gained 59 votes from followers!

There are still more additions to come for Dory on the fence as the summer goes on and we can't wait for you to see it!

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Someone is stomping into our library programs this summer!
BUT this friendly giant is currently missing two very important things: a name, and the final, roarsome details! ✨

We are running a Naming Contest all weekend long!
