Double Bluff Recreation Area opens June 4th at 10am. Stroll or ride the Jonesville Greenway 3.9 miles between Sgt Gregory Martin Park and Double Bluff Recreation Area this weekend during NC Trail Days.

Looks like we'll need to update our trail map.

The latest addition to the Yadkin Valley trail scene: Jonesville's Double Bluffs recreation area.

This brand-new, 154-acre destination will add more than four miles of hiking trails and five miles of mountain bike trails.

You can catch the grand opening during the NC Trail Days festival later this week.

Please note - Double Bluff Recreation Area is CLOSED. Only staff and authorized contractors are allowed access to the property. With all the large equipment and work going on it is unsafe for individuals to be walking, riding and driving through the property site seeing.

The Town is excited to welcome everyone out to Double Bluff Recreation Area on June 4th for the grand opening.

A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of working with WBTV to help put together a segment highlighting Double Bluff Recreation Area and NC Trail Days. It was an exciting opportunity to show not only these great events and destinations, but also everything that makes Jonesville such a special place.

Double Bluff Recreation Area represents lots of planning and hard work, and we are excited to share this incredible outdoor destination with visitors and residents. Pairing that with NC Trail Days was the perfect way to highlight the outdoor recreation, trails, river access, and experiences that continue to make Jonesville the Heart of the Yadkin Valley.
