🌟 Staff Spotlight 🌟

This Staff Spotlight shines the light on Leroy Douglas, our First Community Bank Bus Driver of the Month! 🚌💛🖤

Leroy has been driving a bus for Nettleton for the past 11 years and has made a lasting impact on our Raider family. When asked what he loves most about his job, Leroy shared, “The supervisors, other drivers, and bus aids working together which makes me feel like one of the family.”

When asked what means to him, Leroy said, “Raider Pride makes me feel like we are contributing to the future of our community. I’m proud to be a small part of the progress that is being made.”

Thank you, Leroy, for your dedication, positivity, and commitment to serving our students and community each day!

The last day of school for students will be Friday, May 29. Please note that buses will not run on the last day of school.

Today we celebrate and recognize our incredible Speech-Language Pathologists for the difference they make in the lives of our students each and every day! 💙

From helping students find their voice to building confidence in communication, our SLPs play an important role in supporting student growth and success both inside and outside the classroom. Their dedication, compassion, and expertise help empower students to communicate, connect, and thrive.

☀️ Summer is here, and the State of Arkansas is once again participating in the Summer EBT Program! Qualifying families may receive $120 for eligible children to help with food assistance during the summer months.

You can quickly check your eligibility by visiting ar.gov/SummerEBT. If eligible, sign up online through access.arkansas.gov by clicking the “Apply for New Benefits” tab. You can then log in with an existing account or create a new one.

Please note:
• The $120 benefit does NOT come from Nettleton Public Schools
• The cards do NOT come from Nettleton Public Schools
• Nettleton Public Schools does NOT approve families for the card
• All funds and approvals are distributed through DHS

🎓🖤💛 On Monday, May 4th, we held our Kindergarten Signing Event to kick off registration for the 2026-2027 school year! We loved seeing so many families choose Nettleton for their child, and together we will Raise A Raider!
Being a Raider means so many things, and we cannot wait to see all the incredible things these future Raiders will accomplish throughout their journey at Nettleton Public Schools.
