🏅 2026 RUN2REMEMBER 5K WINNERS 🏅

Congratulations to all of this year’s Run2Remember participants and award winners!

From our competitive runners chasing personal records to our walkers and families joining us in support of veterans, this event continues to grow because of the incredible community that surrounds it.

Thank you again to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, donated, and helped make this year’s event such a tremendous success. We were honored to spend Memorial Day weekend remembering and honoring those who gave everything in service to our nation.

We hope everyone had a great time, and we cannot wait to see you all again next year!

The 2026 Run2Remember 5K was a tremendous success, and we want to thank everyone who helped make this event possible.

Thank you to our sponsors, participants, supporters, and especially our volunteers who gave their time and energy to help honor and remember our nation’s fallen service members.

As Memorial Day approaches, we now turn our attention toward a more solemn tribute taking place Monday at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at Birdeye.

Following the Memorial Day ceremony, the Beck Center’s Travis Manion Foundation Chapter will participate in The Honor Project by personally recognizing and thanking every veteran laid to rest throughout the cemetery.

Every headstone represents a life of service, sacrifice, and family. This project ensures those veterans are remembered, honored, and never forgotten.

We would like to extend a special thank you to Clarence H. Overbay (CH) and Sharon Overbay for their continued support of the Beck Center for Veterans.

CH and Sharon have been longtime supporters of the center and the mission of serving veterans throughout Northeast Arkansas. This year, they are personally serving as Dual Sponsors for both the 2026 Run2Remember 5K and the Beck Center Golf Classic.

In addition, CH recently accepted a position on the Beck Center for Veterans Board, further demonstrating his commitment to supporting veterans and strengthening our community.

We are also grateful that their daughter has joined this year’s efforts as a Dual Sponsor representing The Holder Family, continuing a tradition of community support and service.

Thank you to the Overbay and Holder families for standing behind veterans and helping make these events possible.

🇺🇸 IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN US! 🇺🇸

The Fourth Annual Run2Remember 5K is this Saturday at Arkansas State University, and day-of registration will be available beginning at 7:00 AM!

Whether you are running competitively, walking with friends and family, or simply wanting to support veterans and honor fallen service members Memorial Day weekend, we would love to have you join us.

🚗 Parking will be marked with signs reading “Run2Remember Event Parking” or “R2R Event Parking” and will be located at the northeast corner of Marion Berry Parkway and Aggie Road.

🏃 Participants should walk to the ROTC building and enter through the east door at the inflatable start/finish line.

📍 Check-in and registration will be at the end of the hallway on the right where participants will receive:
✔ Race bib
✔ Event shirt
✔ Race bag

🍎 Fruit will be provided by the Elks National Veteran Service Commission and snacks, granola bars, and water will be provided by the Wounded Warrior Project.

🇺🇸 The course will be lined with American flags throughout the route, and volunteers/course guides will be stationed along the course to assist runners if needed. Printed course maps will also be available race morning.

💧 Two water stations will be located along the route.

🌦 Current forecasts are showing favorable weather Saturday morning. Due to recent rain, there are a few areas along the route with higher water levels.
