🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️ RUNSBORO 5K | COMMUNITY, FITNESS & FUN! 🎉💪🏾
What an incredible day in Jonesboro! The Runsboro 5K brought our community together for a morning filled with movement, encouragement, laughter, and plenty of community spirit! ❤️

A special thank you to Councilman A. Dixon for his leadership in bringing this event to life and creating an opportunity for our residents to get active, have fun, and connect with one another and Marisol Avitia for photographing these amazing moments.

We also extend a HUGE thank you to our amazing sponsors, vendors, volunteers, Jonesboro Youth City Government (JYCG), city staff, community partners, and everyone who helped make the event possible.

And, of course, THANK YOU to every runner, walker, family, and community member who showed up and crossed that finish line with us! 🏅👏🏾

Runsboro was more than a 5K, it was community fitness, community fun, and community togetherness!

Do you care about the future of Downtown Jonesboro and want to help make a difference?
The City of Jonesboro is seeking four community-minded individuals to serve on the DDA Board and help support economic development, business growth, and revitalization within our downtown area.
📍 Not sure if your business is located within the Downtown Jonesboro DDA District?
Check out the DDA District Map included with this post to view the downtown area.
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
Taxpayers residing in the incorporated City of Jonesboro.

Owners or operators of businesses located within Downtown Jonesboro as well as a taxpayer residing in Clayton County, or
Persons having a combination of the qualifications specified in paragraphs (1) and (2) of this subsection; provided, however, that one of such directors may be a member of the governing body of the incorporated City of Jonesboro.

The City of Jonesboro Beautification Committee is excited to announce our Scarecrow Decorating Contest! It’s time to bring your most creative, wacky, and whimsical scarecrow to Downtown Jonesboro!

Businesses, families, clubs, schools, churches, and community organizations are all invited to participate.

The City of Jonesboro is proud to serve as a drop-off location in support of Family Unification Network, Inc.’s September Prison Soap Marathon!

The goal is BIG: 20,000 bars of soap to help provide a simple but essential need to individuals who are currently incarcerated.
