Chairman Jeffrey E. Turner will be hosting his 7th Annual Chairman Turner 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, August 21, 2021. On-Site registration starts at 7:00 AM, and the event begins at 8:00 AM. Please see the attached photo for additional details.

We are always grateful for Chairman Turner’s support of our CASA program, which serves children who are victims of abuse and neglect.

It’s retirement day at Clayton County Juvenile Court. Probation officer, Donald “Ric” Latarski has completed his service to the children and families of Clayton County.

It’s official, after 31 years of service to the children and families of Clayton County, Chief of Intake Operations, Cathy Fust Slay has retired.

We are appreciative for her service and wish her the best in the next chapter.

Yesterday, we announced the Juvenile Court Employees of the Year for 2020. Recieving recognition for their outstanding work and dedication to our mission were Deputy Clerk Sr. Jenai’ Polite (pictured left In the tandem picture below) and Chief of Staff Tiffany Moen (pictured right in the tandem picture below). Both of these employees exemplify a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done and consistently go above and beyond the call of duty, more especially so during our response during the pandemic.

We are extremely thankful for Jenai’ and Tiffany and for all the employees of the Juvenile Court who serve the children and families of Clayton County.

Chairman Jeffrey Turner will host a Toy Drive and Holiday Fundraiser on December 10, 2020, from 6pm to 9pm, at the Legends Headquarters Sports Bar & Grill, located at 7240 N. Davidson Parkway in Stockbridge.

A portion of the toys and donations will go to support our very own CASA program. CASA provides advocates for children who are in foster care, and they work to ensure that the children's best interests are served. Please consider supporting this important work.

While for the safety of all concerned our courthouse building itself is closed to the public, the Juvenile Court Intake and Clerk’s Office are still open and are addressing essential functions.

Please call Intake at (770) 473-5977 during normal business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday), so that an Intake Officer can screen your situation. If your situation involves an emergency that would require an immediate court order, the Intake Officer will receive your complaint for filing.

If you are a parent, guardian, custodian, or witness and have been summoned to a court hearing, please call the number above to speak with an Intake Officer to admit you into the courthouse at the time of your hearing and es**rt you to the courtroom.

If you have an emergency at any time, call 911.
