Members of the Will County Board were honored to participate in this year’s Annual Law Day hosted by the 12th Judicial Circuit Court and the Will County Bar Association.

Standing alongside Will County Judges and the Legal community, Members of the Board were proud to retake their oath of office administered by Illinois Supreme Court Justice Mary K. O’Brien.

We value opportunities like this because they help us to remember the residents we represent and give us the clarity we need to continue our efforts to make Will County the best it can be!

Members Present: Speaker Joe VanDuyne, Denise Winfrey, Herbert Brooks, Kelly Hickey, Dawn Bullock, Mica Freeman

Recently, members of the Will County Board had the privilege of attending the joint Legislative Conference hosted by the United Counties Council of Illinois (UCCI) and the Illinois State Association of Counties (ISACo).

This annual event is a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues and partners from across Will County, including our State Representatives and Senators, to discuss the issues that matter most to our communities.

The advocacy and leadership provided by UCCI and ISACo play a vital role in ensuring counties have a strong voice in Springfield. We’re proud to collaborate with these organizations and grateful for their ongoing support and dedication to counties throughout Illinois.

This past Friday, Members of the Will County Board had a great time participating in the “Day at Will County Government” event, hosted by the Will County Executive and Will County Clerk.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with residents, answer questions, and share resources alongside our dedicated department teams. Events like this are what community is all about—bringing people together, providing helpful information, and strengthening the connection between local government and the residents we proudly serve.

We always enjoy being part of opportunities that educate, engage, and inspire. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello!
