How can I spot pharmacy fraud? 👀Read your Part D or Medicare Advantage Explanation of Benefits to help spot potential pharmacy fraud. Look for errors or suspicious charges. For example, check that the medications you got from the pharmacy are the same type and amount that your doctor prescribed.
Who should I contact if I have concerns about my Medicare statements or my medications? 💬Contact your local Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP). Your SMP can help report potential fraud and abuse to the appropriate authorities. Learn more and get your local SMP contact info here: smpresource.org/medicare-fraud/fraud-schemes/pharmacy-and-prescription-drug-fraud/
