🕯️✨ Today at Eden Vista Rock Run MC, we got creative and made our very own homemade candles!

Using wax, essential oils, and our candle crockpot, residents enjoyed exploring different scents before deciding on two wonderful creations: a warm vanilla candle with a yellow tint and a calming lavender candle with a blue tint. The room was filled with wonderful aromas and plenty of smiles as everyone worked together on this fun hands-on project.

Activities like candle making encourage creativity, stimulate the senses, and provide meaningful opportunities for social engagement, all of which contribute to overall well-being in our senior community.

🎨🌞🌙 A Creative Day at Eden Vista Rock Run MC! 🌙🌞🎨

Today, our residents enjoyed creating beautiful Sun & Moon Night & Day paintings, each one uniquely designed to reflect the idea that both daytime and nighttime have their own special beauty. No two paintings were alike, and each masterpiece showcased the creativity and individuality of its artist.

Art activities are an important part of life in a senior community, providing opportunities for self-expression, stimulating the mind, encouraging social interaction, and bringing a sense of accomplishment and joy. We love seeing our residents share their talents and creativity with one another!

🎳 Strike up some fun at Eden Vista Rock Run AL! 🎳

Today we took our athletic abilities to the multipurpose room for an exciting game of bowling! Those poor pins didn’t stand a chance against Maria, Jean, Arlette, Flo, Faye, and Fred, who brought plenty of energy, friendly competition, and lots of smiles to the game.

Staying active is an important part of healthy aging. Activities like bowling help improve coordination, balance, mobility, and social connection while providing a fun way to exercise both the body and mind. We love seeing our residents stay engaged, active, and enjoying time together!

Great job to all of our bowlers today! 🎉

🇺🇸 Today at Eden Vista Rock Run, we came together to celebrate Memorial Day with a special cookout shared between both of our buildings! Our Assisted Living friends joined us in the Memory Care courtyard for an afternoon filled with delicious burgers, hot dogs, potato chips, and our flavor of the day — chocolate ice cream topped with whipped cream and Butterfinger pieces. 🍔🌭🍦

Most importantly, today was a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all veterans and military families for their service this Memorial Day. ❤️🤍💙

It was a wonderful day of friendship, laughter, good food, and remembrance together as one Eden Vista family. 🇺🇸

Birds of a feather flock together! Today at Eden Vista Rock Run, our residents connected with nature while creating beautiful peacock art projects. Each piece was unique, colorful, and full of personality—showing just how powerful creativity can be at any age.

Art plays an important role in senior living communities. It encourages self-expression, supports cognitive engagement, reduces stress, and provides meaningful opportunities for social connection. Projects like these also help spark memories and conversation, while giving residents a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Our creative afternoon was followed by a special visit from Jim, the husband of a former resident, who generously volunteers his time to perform for us. He filled the community with music as he played the accordion, bringing joy, nostalgia, and smiles all around.

A wonderful day of art, music, and togetherness at Eden Vista Rock Run.

At Eden Vista Rock Run Memory Care, our residents had a wonderful time “Discovering Nature” through our Encompass Program! 🌊🐠🎨

The other day, we spent time learning all about the ocean and enjoying a fun hands-on activity called Magnet Fishing — a fast-paced game against the clock that brought plenty of laughs and friendly competition! 🎣⏱️

Our creativity continued with two underwater-themed art projects. Residents painted beautiful ocean-inspired canvases and added magazine cutouts to create their own underwater experiences. We also made adorable paper plate frog crafts that had everyone smiling! 🐸🖌️

At Eden Vista Rock Run, we love creating engaging activities that encourage creativity, learning, and fun for our residents every day. 💙
