Yesterday, a few members of our CWW board presented a check to Trinity Services in support of their Love Purse project. The Love Purse project will help those that are trying to leave a domestic violence living situation. Often, when women leave their abuser, they are in a hurry and do not have anything with them. Providing a purse with basic necessities is so important! The CWW is happy to be able to support women in our community in this way.

Trinity Services is accepting donations until September 21st. They are in need of Purses ($20 or less in value), socks, and toiletries. More information can be found on the flyers or by calling 779-341-5090.

🎉RINGING IN A QUARTER CENTURY! 🎉

Today, we’re celebrating an extraordinary milestone: Mike Paone’s 25th anniversary with the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry!

Twenty-five years.

That’s more than 9,000 days of showing up, building relationships, solving problems, creating opportunities and helping move the Chamber, and the business community we serve, forward.

It’s difficult to put into words what 25 years of dedication truly means. And in Mike’s case, it’s nearly impossible to quantify the impact he has had on this organization.

Over the course of a quarter century, Mike has been involved in countless initiatives, events, programs, relationships and conversations that have helped shape the Chamber into what it is today. He has worked alongside generations of business leaders, welcomed countless new members, helped businesses find connections and opportunities and represented the Chamber and its mission throughout our community.

But his impact goes far beyond a list of accomplishments.

It’s in the relationships he has built.
It’s in the people he has helped.
It’s in the businesses he has connected.
It’s in the ideas he has championed.
It’s in the memories he has helped create.

And it’s in the countless moments that may never make it onto a spreadsheet, a report or a list of accomplishments, but have made a difference nonetheless.

Twenty-five years means Mike has witnessed an incredible amount of change. He has seen businesses come and go, watched our community evolve, worked through challenges and celebrated successes. Through it all, he has remained a constant presence and an important part of the Chamber’s story.

The impact of 25 years cannot truly be measured. But it can certainly be felt.

And we know that impact has been felt by countless Chamber members, community leaders, businesses and friends over the years.

So, we want to hear from you!

Do you have a favorite memory with Mike? A story from an event, meeting or Chamber adventure? Maybe there’s a piece of advice he’s shared over the years that has stuck with you, or a classic photograph that brings back a great memory.

We’d love for you to share it with us!

Share your favorite Mike memories, stories and photos here via the comments or send them to [email protected]. We’ll be collecting them throughout the celebration because, after 25 years, we know there are a lot of great stories to tell!

Today, we’re incredibly grateful for everything Mike has given to the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the countless people he has touched along the way.

Please join us in celebrating Mike and an incredible 25 years with the Chamber!

🥂 Here’s to a quarter century of dedication, countless contributions and an impact that will continue long after the years can be counted.

Congratulations, Mike! Here’s to the next quarter century! 🎉
