Even though we are just getting summer started, our Superintendent is spending the summer working on important district business... which also includes cuddling Violet, a baby Nigerian Dwarf goat who belongs to middle school teacher Mrs. Hall.

Last Friday evening, our Northridge Track & Field teams left it all on the track at the Regional Competition at Marion Harding. We are incredibly proud of the entire team for an awesome season, and huge congratulations to our regional placers:

Elias Zanks: 8th place in the 400m

Dixie Ashbrook: 8th place in the 100m hurdles

Girls 4x400 Relay (Ava, Dixie, Macey Van Fossen, Summer Strout): 8th place

🌟 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR STATE QUALIFIERS! 🌟
Join us in celebrating the athletes who punched their tickets to the State Championship this week at Jesse Owens Stadium in Columbus!

Ava Travis – Regional Runner-Up in the 100m, 200m, and 400m dashes (and reset her own 400m School Record! ⏱️)

Colton Isler – 4th place in both the 110m and 300m hurdles

Jamie Odrumsky – 7th place in the 100m and 200m, earning an at-large bid in both and setting a new 200m School Record! ⏱️

Xave Fiamingo – 7th place in the shot put, earning an at-large bid to State! 💥

🎨 Free Summer Arts Opportunity for Our Students! 🎸

Looking for a creative outlet for your kids this summer? The Creative Arts Connection (NOCA) is hosting its 1st Annual Summer Creative Arts Camp, and the best part? All classes are completely free for students!

Whether your child wants to rock out in a band, take the stage, or write the next great story, there is a spot for them.

📅 The Details:
Dates: June 8 – August 15

Cost: $0 (No-cost to the student!)

Schedule: Each class meets 2 times per week.

Location: NOCA Studio | 33 W. Church St. Newark, OH

🎵 Classes Include:
Guitar 🎸
Bass 🎸
Drums 🥁
Rock Band 🧑‍🎤
Theater 🎭
Creative Writing 📝

✨ Grand Finale: Students will have the amazing opportunity to perform live at the Creative Arts Connection Festival at the end of the summer!

Summer Sundays: Down On the Farm is coming to Croton Church of Christ! We have four incredible Sunday nights packed with games, snacks, and a chance to give back to our community.

It’s going to be a hay-day for kids aged 3 years through 5th Grade!

School might be out soon, but healthy meals are still in! We love seeing our community partners like the Licking County Family YMCA step up to support our students.

The YMCA is hosting free lunch and snack times for all youth 18 and under starting June 1st.

📍 Where: Licking County Family YMCA
🕚 Lunch: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
🕒 Snack: 2:45 PM – 3:15 PM
