Scouts from Troop 2098 and 2622 along with Sheriff Don Robertson and Cambria County Commissioner Keith Rager participating in the Cambria County location of the Scouting America Light to Unite - Flags Across the Commonwealth program. Today's flag raising is part of a statewide effort brining together Scouting America councils and all 67 County Sheriffs in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. Today's ceremony is just one stop on the journey that will conclude on Flag Day, June 14th and then on July 3rd the flags will be escorted to Washington DC to be flown at the Capital and then given to the Smithsonian for display at the 300th anniversary of the United States.
