During Police Week, we pause to honor and remember the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities and this nation. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Johnstown Police wives and families who stand behind our officers each and every day. Thank you for preparing or providing meals, snacks, drinks, goodies, and for the countless acts of kindness and support throughout the week. Your generosity and encouragement mean more than words can express.

To the fallen โ€” we honor your sacrifice. To the families who support those who serve โ€” we thank you.

A huge thank you to the incredible turnout for the Light Ohio Blue caravan! It was amazing to see so many people supporting not only the Johnstown Police Department, but law enforcement agencies from all across the state.

If you missed it, donโ€™t worry โ€” a Licking County version of the Light Ohio Blue caravan will be traveling through Johnstown on Friday, May 8, 2026, between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM. Letโ€™s see if Johnstown can make this turnout even bigger!

Youโ€™ll see cruisers from across Licking County, including many departments that support the Johnstown Police Department and the City of Johnstown through mutual aid, additional officer assistance when needed, and training that helps our officers better serve the community.

The caravan will travel north on SR 37 (Main Street) from Alexandria, then turn right onto US 62 (East Coshocton Street) and continue toward Utica.

Letโ€™s come together to support the officers โ€” and the families โ€” who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting their communities.
