Knowledge Question Academy (KQA) puts on a Veterans Day program every year that we are privileged to participate in. Their students compete in an essay contest and one essay is picked from each class. The essays are judged by members of the VFW and Legion. Here is a photo of the 13 winners of the contest.

FYI - the (sort-of) department convention was held this past weekend, so our post has received our 2026 membership cards. If you don’t have a 2025 card, your membership expired on 31-Dec, and as of 1-Jul you will loose your ‘consecutive years’ of membership. Notification has been sent-and this is the only notification. On a side note, tomorrow (23-Jun) is our monthly meeting. Hope to see all members there.
