Hello Allied Artists, Happy Memorial Day!

Hope you’re planning ahead for the Summer Exhibit at Community Arts Center of Cambria County, intake Saturday July 25, 2026. We’ll celebrate the show with a reception on Friday July 31 at 6pm, so put it on your calendar. Art, refreshments, and fabulous prizes!

Current and prospective members may submit up to 2 pieces for jurying. Artwork 36” or less in width preferred.

This Saturday is the Path of the Flood Historic Races! The public is invited to cheer on the runners -- the graphic below gives details on good places and times -- and to the free post-race festival at the finish line at Peoples Natural Gas Park, 8:00 am-noon. We'll have music from The Rusty Shackles, the James Leigh Coffee Co truck and the Good Times Ice Cream Bus, and a bouncy house for the kids!

Who's ready for the IAA Annual Art Show, from June 2 through July 7, at The Artists Hand Gallery & Espresso Bar?

We're excited to celebrate summer and see what you've all been working on throughout the winter months! All IAA members are welcomed to enter up to 2 pieces in any medium.

Mail-in forms and guidelines are available on our website or via request. Or, register online at indianaartassociation.org. Entry forms received before May 31 will receive early bird pricing ($25).

Not a member? Join IAA for just $25 and gain access to enter your work in this show and others throughout the year. You'll also receive discounts to IAA classes.

It was a packed house tonight for the closing reception for the M.I.N.D. Works Exhibit! This incredible exhibit featured student artwork from more than 355 students from Conemaugh Valley Elementary School and Greater Johnstown School District.

A heartfelt congratulations to all of the young artists, and a sincere thank you teaching artists Holly Lees, Joanne Mekis, and Colleen Albright for helping make this program possible. ✨
