Borough of Geistown Borough of Geistown. Incorporated in 1930. There are seven Council Members and a Mayor who are elected by the voters.

Geistown Borough is a small friendly community with a population of 2,331, governed by a "weak" Mayor-Council form of government. Borough Council meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the Municipal Building located at 721 East Oakmont Boulevard. The fourth Monday (6pm) of the month is the backup day for a second meeting if needed.

Seasonal Highway Dept. Laborer

The Borough of Geistown is seeking a motivated individual for part time/seasonal work in the Borough Highway Department. Experience in all phases of year-round operations including but not limited to mowing, equipment operation, snow plowing, and general roadway/drainage maintenance is preferred.
