We are having a problem with our phone services. If you have an emergency please call 911. Again, that is for EMERGENCY calls only! Our administration and direct lines are being worked on and should be working soon. Thank you.

Happy National Police Woman Day! 👮‍♀️🇺🇸

As Sheriff, I have the privilege of working alongside some of the most dedicated, professional, and resilient women in law enforcement. Today, I want to personally thank each and every one of them for what they bring to the Fulton County Sheriff's Office.
Whether you are out on patrol, keeping our facilities secure in corrections, or handling the vital administrative work that keeps this office running, your impact is felt every single day.
I see your hard work, your sacrifice, and the genuine care you have for the people of Fulton County. You don't just do a job; you make our community a safer, better place.
To all the women currently serving with us, and those who paved the way before them
—thank you.

Exactly 25 years ago at this very minute, American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center, changing our nation forever.
Today, the members of the Fulton County Sheriff's Office join together with our community to observe a moment of silence. We look back with heavy hearts to honor the thousands of innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001.
As law enforcement officers, we pay special tribute to the 443 first responders—including 71 law enforcement officers and 343 firefighters—who made the ultimate sacrifice running toward danger to save others. Their courage is our standard, and their legacy will never be forgotten.
We also extend our deepest gratitude to the members of our own agency who answered the call to assist with the intense rescue and recovery efforts in New York City. Sifting through the debris alongside federal and local authorities, these men represented the heart of Fulton County:
• Sheriff Tom Lorey• Deputy Joe Albertine• Deputy Terry Bills• Investigator Eric Fettinger• Deputy Mark Hallenbeck• Investigator Marty Kested• Deputy Scott McCoy• Deputy Matt Weise

May we never forget the victims of 9/11/2001, and may we always honor those who stepped forward when our nation needed them most. 🇺🇸🦅
