This past Friday, members of our PBA were joined at Walmart Gloversville by sixteen local kids for our second annual Shop with a Cop event! Only due to our community’s generous donations were we able to host so many students!

We received numerous donations from individuals in this area as well as the list of businesses below. We continue to be humbled by Johnstown’s overwhelming support for our union and for the community events that are held in this City. Thank you to all you donated and participated, we can’t wait to do it again next year!

Members of the Johnstown PBA are once again participating in No Shave November, where our officers make a donation that is compiled by the PBA and a local charitable organization is selected to receive the money.

This year, the membership has selected the Vet-to-Vet Center, located at 128 W. Main St. in Johnstown. The Veterans Center, which is a program under the umbrella of the Mental Health Association in Fulton and Montgomery Counties, works to provide assistance to veterans in achieving and sustaining personal health, wellness and purpose in their post-service lives using trained peers along with social events for the veteran and their family.
