Join us and our community partners for a Su***de Prevention Resource Fair designed for Iowa National Guard members and families in the surrounding area.

Sexual violence can have profound and lasting impacts on survivors. RAINN reports that 33% of women who are r***d contemplate su***de, and 13% attempt su***de. Understanding these connections helps us recognize risk, reduce barriers to support, and connect survivors with resources before a crisis occurs. (RAINN)

🦋Prevention has to go beyond awareness. Secondary prevention means recognizing risk, identifying vulnerabilities, strengthening protective factors, and intervening early—before harm occurs. As leaders, teammates, and advocates, we have a role in creating safer environments. We don’t wait for harm to happen before we act.
