June is PTSD Awareness Month.
Post-traumatic stress can affect Service Members, Veterans, and Family Members in different ways. Sometimes the signs are visible, and sometimes the challenges are carried quietly. No matter what your experience may be, you are not alone.
PTSD is not a sign of weakness. Seeking support is a sign of strength.
Whether you're navigating deployment-related stress, a traumatic event, reintegration challenges, or supporting a loved one through their journey, help is available. Recovery is possible, and connection matters.
If you or someone you care about could use support, reach out to your Military & Family Readiness Specialist, Military Family Life Counselor (MFLC), Military OneSource, Vet Center, VA resources, or dial 988 and press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line.
Together, we can reduce stigma, encourage conversations, and remind one another that asking for help is one of the bravest things we can do.
