🥔🏁 Welcome to the Indianapolis 500 of potatoes.

The JPL Great Potato Derby delivered elite engineering, fierce competition, and enough creativity to fill an entire potato field. Our racers designed, built, and launched some seriously impressive spud-speed machines, proving once and for all that potatoes are capable of great things.

From aerodynamic masterpieces to wildly creative designs, the level of tuber engineering on display was nothing short of remarkable.

Congratulations to all of our racers for pushing potato technology to new heights. Science? Engineering? Racing? Potatoes? We had it all.

Meanwhile at the library:

🌿 Painting beautiful botanical art.
🥤 Sipping on dirty soda called Main Character Energy.
✨ Being absolutely iconic.

Our teen artists spent the afternoon making plant-inspired paintings with ASAP (After School Arts Program) before hitting the DIY soda bar to craft a bespoke soda.

Art was made.
Soda was consumed.
We love to see it.
