We are proud of the two outstanding Soldiers 134 had competing. 134th is a staple in representing the 109th MMB, Iowa Army National Guard having competitors at the State level 3 years running. We will be back next year and our Soldiers will be ready.

✅ Mission Complete – A Successful Annual Training for the 134th Ground Ambulance Company! 🚑

This year’s Annual Training was all about leadership—and the Soldiers of the 134th delivered.

Our junior NCOs stepped up in a big way, leading with confidence and proving why they’re among the best in the state. Even more inspiring, our junior Soldiers showed that leadership isn’t tied to rank—it’s demonstrated through pride, discipline, and excellence in everything they do.

We also had the chance to train alongside some of the best in the Army:
🚁 Aviators from C Co 2-211th GSAB, enhancing our MEDEVAC capabilities
🏥 U.S. Army Reserve Field Hospital Units, expanding our joint medical readiness

Every Soldier contributed to a legacy of professionalism and teamwork that defines the 134th. Job well done, Roadrunners! 💪🏽

We’re proud to recognize some major accomplishments from within our ranks:

🪖 5 Iowa Soldiers took on the 10 Toughest Days in the Army—Air Assault School.
🎖️ All 5 graduated, including our very own SGT French from the 134th!

From sling load operations to ruck marches in the Georgia heat, these Soldiers pushed through every challenge with grit and determination.

Outstanding job, SGT French and team! You’ve made your unit and your state proud. 👏

🚑 134th Ground Ambulance Company – Mission Ready! 💥

The past couple of months have been busy for the 134th! Our Soldiers have been hard at work preparing for annual training by:

✅ Exercising command post operations
✅ Conducting field evacuation missions
✅ Finalizing load plans and logistics
✅ Sharpening medical and tactical skills

All of this effort ensures we're ready for anything this summer throws our way. Proud to serve, proud to be prepared! 💪

Today marks the 178th Birthday of the Great State of Iowa!!! On this day in 1846, Iowa officially joined the Union. We are proud to serve this great state and the people of Iowa.
