My most humble of thanks to all who have supported me. (This is our Sat am crew.)

Today I knocked on my 2,000th door. Yes, 2,000.
A huge “Thank You!” to all the local families who have supported me. Each time there was a need, Johnston/Urbandale families donated to make my campaign possible. I promise to finish this race just as I would serve on the Board- placing my energy in what I can positively impact. I will focus on what benefits our students, and making our schools a great place to learn and work.

I’ve been door knocking our community since July. Our district is so diverse, and BIG! I’ve knocked on doors and asked “Are you REALLY in the Johnston School District?” (Granger addresses and Des Moines past Beaver) I am so proud of our community- of the kind, engaged faces I’ve met.
Thank you to all who have cheered me on- a gentle reminder to put “Vote for VSSN” on your calendar Nov 7.
