Our Story

Tennessee Elite Aquarium & Marine Society (TEAMS) is a marine and freshwater based non-profit organization created for, but not limited to the northeast Tennessee. Their ultimate goal is to bring the separated and lone hobbyist together to create a family like community. They teach proper and professional management skills specific for the animals under each members care. The core members of this group boast over 35 years of collective experience in the freshwater and saltwater industry. They are family friendly and enjoy member exclusive meetings monthly at venues such as Bays Mountain Park and The Bagel Exchange. As a non profit 501(c)(3) organization that brings together these keepers (private, public and professional) of saltwater and freshwater aquariums, ponds and other aquatic features on display, they are among those leading in the industry of teaching, keeping and propagating fresh water and saltwater animals and plants alike.
