The sample ballot for the November 3, 2026 Election is now available.

Please note that this is a full sample ballot containing all contests that may appear throughout Washington County, TN. When you vote, your ballot will only include the offices, candidates, and questions applicable to your specific district and precinct.

▪️ All ballots will contain the Constitutional Amendments.
▪️ Johnson City offices will appear only on the ballots of voters who reside within the Johnson City, city limits.
▪️ Town of Jonesborough Offices will appear only on the ballots of voters who reside in the Town of Jonesborough (precinct: Visitors Center).

We encourage voters to review and familiarize themselves with the ballot before voting.

As a reminder, the Washington County Election Commission is a nonpartisan office. We do not endorse or oppose any candidate, political party, or ballot measure. Our role is to administer elections and provide voters with accurate election information.

Proposed Constitutional Amendments will appear on the November 2026 ballot. These amendments can be lengthy and may take a little time to read and consider while you're at the voting machine.

We encourage voters to take a few minutes to review the proposed amendments before heading to the polls this November.

Please note: The Washington County Election Commission does not take a position on proposed Constitutional Amendments, and our staff and election workers cannot discuss or offer opinions on how anyone should vote.

We’ll be sharing the proposed amendments so you can take your time, read them carefully, and be prepared when you cast your ballot.
