April Drill is approaching quickly! Be prepared to stay overnight and it is Bristol Race Weekend! Be prepared for the Army Physcial Fitness Test first thing Saturday morning, which means proper nutrion and hydration the rest of this week. We will again stay overnight, so bring all necessary items for the night, to include razor, shaving cream and acceptable sleep wear.

Were you told you could not join or re-join because of too many tattoos on your arms and legs? Well, it's time to check back with your recruiter because the regulations have changed again! If your tattoos do not show in the dress uniform and they do not violate other restrictions, you may be eligible to enlist!

We had a lot going on at drill from a cosignment sale taking up a larege portion of the armory, to snow still covering the ground during the 2 mile run. We adapted and overcame all difficulties and perfomed well under the circumstances! This was also the final drill for Mr. Cunningham who has been with us since 2007.

Drill update! Tomorrow arrival time in Johnson City is 0930 with the first formation at 1000 in ACUs! We will not do PT on Saturday, but be prepared for weigh in and the APFT on Sunday morning.

Drill weekend approaches! Even in cold weather hydration and healthy eating are important. When colder weather is around, you may not notice water loss as you would in the hotter summer months, so be sure to drink enough water and eat properly as you prepare to come to drill on the 28th!

We have part-time openings in Elizabethton for Computer/Detection Systems Repairer (94E)! There are other positions open call or leave a message for more information! Job training for a computer/detection systems repairer requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 25 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instructions. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field, including practice in repairing and replacing equipment parts.

Some of the skills you’ll learn are:

•Use and maintenance of electrical and electronic test equipment
•Equipment repair

•Interest in mathematics, solving problems and electronic equipment repair
