What a great June meeting for the East Tennessee Republican Club!
We enjoyed an informative presentation from Chip Saltsman and heard from Tennessee Senate candidates Rusty Crowe and Dan Pohlgeers.
The room was packed, with some attendees standing, and we were proud to celebrate the 8th Anniversary of ETRC with our members and guests.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for another outstanding meeting. Here’s to many more years of conservative fellowship and engagement in East Tennessee! 🇺🇸🎉

The East Tennessee Republican Club unequivocally denounces the disgraceful and deceptive campaign mailers recently flooding Sullivan and Carter Counties from the unnamed and “Tennessee Stand” PACs, attacking two of our Club Members. We will not remain silent while outside or undisclosed entities attempt to manipulate our elections from the shadows.

East Tennesseans do not need outsiders telling us how to vote! These cowardly, hit-piece tactics are a direct insult to East TN voters. They are strategically designed to mislead, manipulate, and smear, all while hiding behind fine print and avoiding responsibility.

We call on the candidates and campaigns benefiting from these tactics to immediately and publicly denounce them! Silence is not neutrality—it is complicity! We also call on the TNGOP and East TN County GOPs to publicly denounce them. We call for an investigation to expose those behind this election manipulation.

One week of early voting down and one week of early voting to go. If you haven't yet, take the opportunity to cast your ballot in the upcoming May Primary early so you don't have to worry about it on Election Day.
But whether you vote early, or on election day, the most important thing is that you DO vote. The May 5 County Primary Election will have a significant impact on the lives of local citizens. It determines who sets your property tax rate, the policies of the school system, what kinds of services the county government provides, and many more impactful decisions. Don't silence your own voice.... GO VOTE!

The Tennessee General Assembly passed legislation this week, House Bill 2543, that will expand the "Governor's Response and Recovery Fund" (GRRF) to make it the state's primary disaster relief mechanism, according to the office of Rep. Tim Hicks (R-Gray).
