The goal of the Johnson City Schools’ page is to share important information about the System with our public and engage in an open and respectful dialogue. To help us accomplish this goal we require that you abide by the following guidelines:

No personal issues. This page is not intended to circumvent regular communication channels for sharing pers

onal issues and concerns. Comments regarding a personal issue with the System, an individual school or a staff member will be removed. Personal attacks or comments that are deemed offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate and offensive remarks and profanity will be removed. No Personal Promotions. Want to boost your product sales? Running for a political office? Publish a personal page, and leave ours for sharing news and insights about our System. Sales pitches and political ads will be removed. Stay on topic. This is a page dedicated to the education of students in Johnson City Schools. Comments are welcome so long as they directly relate to our System. Have a question for a specific employee? Contact that employee directly. Fans should not expect responses to every question or comment posted on this page. Be aware of the mission. The mission of Johnson City Schools is education. Please be certain that your comments are appropriate for an educational environment and fans of all ages. Blatantly inaccurate information will be removed. False information will be removed and factual information will be posted. All comments and communication must come from a verifiable account. Comments made by individuals who are misrepresenting themselves, representing themselves as someone other than themselves or from unverifiable accounts will be removed. Employees of Johnson City Schools may have personal pages. Don’t be surprised or offended if your request to “friend” them is ignored. School System protocols encourage staff to keep their personal lives personal. This page is yours and we want you to feel comfortable sharing your views about the Johnson City Schools. 🎓 Meet the JCS Hall of Fame Class of 2026 — seven individuals who have made a lasting impact on Johnson City Schools.

⭐ Five Science Hill seniors named National Merit Semifinalists — congratulations to Sean Bushell, Sunny Li, Allie O’Neal, Arnav Patel and Ashini Patel!

Each district's TISA accountability report is required to be presented to the public for review and comment before the report is submitted to the department. The report must be submitted annually to the department by November 1st.

Johnson City Schools is seeking feedback on the goals included in the report. The window to provide feedback will be posted from September 11, 2026 through September 19, 2026.

The Hilltoppers were out at Mountain View this morning to welcome students to school in the car and bus drop off lines! We appreciate them getting out each week to help and be visible in the community!

These guys play the Bearden Bulldogs tonight at home in Kermit Tipton Stadium. We'll see you there!
