Blanco County 4H Shooting Education Shooting education for the youth. We teach a life long skill to all 4-H members who are willing to put forth the effort.

First day at the Daisy International BB Gun Championship Match. We start off with a 8am practice and move on through the day to a 50 question test on gunology, rules and gun safety. In the late afternoon, Daisy has Opening Ceremonies introducing all participants and teams from all over the US and abroad. The second day at 8am, We shoot prone and standing positions. The third day we rotate to the afternoon and shoot the sitting and kneeling positions. As soon as the last shot is fired and scores are tallied we have the closing and awards ceremony. Medals issued for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place individuals along with the top three teams. The top three teams will each receive a trophy... What an honor for Blanco County to represent the great state of Texas !!!

Congratulations to all our Blanco Co State BB Competition participants! They did an amazing job representing our County and came out with a team heading to the National Competition!! So very proud of all the shooters for their hard work and dedication!!

Blanco County 4H Shooting Sports classes will begin Tuesday Jan 5th at 6:30pm at the Showbarn. We will take safety precautions and everyone is required to wear a mask and keep a 6ft distance. Please spread the word to anyone that may be interested. Thanks

Its been a great 2019 shooting season and we are gearing up to compete at the State Shooting Competition in March. We have an awesome group of shooters and we are very proud of their accomplishments.
