The always amazing LUMA Projection Arts Festival kicked off in Binghamton last night, and our district was proud to be a part of the event! Adam Gabriel from our IT Department is once again serving as a projection manager for one of the LUMA displays. This year, our very own JC Music Coordinator, Jennifer Chudacik, is contributing live music to the display as a member of the Southern Tier Music Collective. JC Music also got a shout out on the building! If you missed it last night, we encourage you to check it out tonight on LUMA’s final night. The event begins at 8:30 p.m. and runs until 12:15 a.m. To see the display featuring Mrs. Chudacik, go to the Broome Culinary School located on Exchange Street. Johnson City Music Booster Club

In alumni news, we recently learned that pro football player DaQuan Jones (JC Class of 2010) has signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots. Way to go, DaQuan. We'll be watching!

It's the first day of school! We were excited to welcome our returning students and to meet our newest PreK and kindergarten students this morning. We wish all our students and staff a great 2026-2027 school year. Go Wildcats!

We had a tremendous turnout at today's meet-and-greet at the elementary school. The event gave families a final chance to meet their students' teachers before the first day of school.

We had a great turnout at Tuesday evening's JC Middle School Open House. Students and families had the opportunity to speak with teachers and sports coaches, pick up their schedules, and meet representatives from local agencies.
